Meet the iconic pacifier that BIBS was built on - a timeless favorite bringing comfort and joy to babies for over 40 years. Featuring a glow-in-the-dark effect, illuminating late-night pacifier hunts when time is of the essence.
BIBS Colour is the original pacifier with a round shield, the matte lightweight shield is designed to imitate the shape of a mothers breast.
It is recommended by midwives to support natural breastfeeding as both the specific length and shape of BIBS Colour gives the baby the correct sucking technique at the breast.
The round lightweight shield faces away from the babys face to facilitate a supply of air to the sensitive skin around babys mouth.
Round Nipple
The round nipple resembles the shape and size of the mothers soft nipple and promotes a similar tongue placement and sucking technique as when breastfeeding since the round shape allows the sides of the tongue to elevate and cup around the nipple.
The nipple is equipped with a valve, that lets out air when the baby closes down on the nipple. This ventilation system causes the air from inside the nipple to be pushed out through the valve thereby flattening the nipple to shape naturally after the babys oral cavity. The valve is also the reason why water can be presented inside the nipple after cleaning and sterilization. If this is the case, simply just squeeze the nipple flat to press out the excess water.
